It’s Time To Bury the Network
This week's storm and flooding across Auckland's North West and then news of a utility pole collision resulting in two fatalities got me thinking about the need to underground our network.
At the current rate we're going, it'll be the year 3118 AD, closer to the age of Futurama than the Simpsons, before we achieve it.
But we could have had it buried by 2010 - and I show (albeit quickly) that it would have been worth it.
